During the Great Depression do you know which companies survived? Alcohol, cigarettes, and cosmetics. Cosmetic businesses are recession proof because we sell consumable products. (Honestly, how many candles do you need?) I don’t mean to bash other companies but I want you to know about them before you get into them.
One of my good friends used to sell Mary Kay. Do you know how they work? The consultant buys the products at 50% off and when they sell it they mark it up 50% in order to make a profit! My friend felt bad charging her friends and family twice as much as she paid so she always gave them her discount so she never made any money. (Edit: did you see MK Lady’s answer?)
This same friend now sells Arbonne and so do I. In Arbonne the customers can get the same discount (35%) that the consultants have and the consultants still make money. And here’s another thing. If you go to the store and buy a jar of vaseline and leave it on your shelf for 6 years before you use it, it will still be like the first day you bought it. Do you know why? Preservatives. Recent research has shown that the preservatives (called parabens) in cosmetics are causing breast cancer because it is being masked as estrogen in the body. Arbonne uses less than 1% preservatives, which is just enough to keep it out of the refrigerator. My friend called Mary Kay to find out if they have parabens in their products. They said they cannot give out the ingredients! Now don’t you think that they would be more than happy to tell you if they did not use parabens? Arbonne offers complete ingredient lists online. Arbonne products are botanically based, pH correct, hypoallergenic, certified vegan, dermatologist tested, and never tested on animals.

I want to share an incredible business opportunity for you called Shop To Earn a company founded by Patrick Welsh. Please feel free to share and forward this information with family and friends that can benefit from this.
What is STE? STE is the fastest growing sales portal on the internet, expected to reach millions of homes around the world becoming the most important sales portal world wide. It has an affiliation marketing program with more than 500 retailers in which by becoming a member, you own a website that allows you to do online shopping with all this retailers through the links on your site, generating cash back for you or your business for every transaction. The cash back amounts goes from 1% – 30% and it goes directly to your business checking account, or either your personal or savings accounts. This could be a good option for fundraising since you can promote your site among your community and have more purchases generated from your webpage, therefore more cash back for you.
On the other hand we have also Shop To Earth dedicated to promote a wide variety of products that are good for the planet and good for people, natural products that will help us stay healthier longer.
Now, once you start using this amazing website, and start receiving cash back from your regular purchases, I am sure you will start talking about it ad referring other people to your site, just like when you like a movie and you encourage your friends and family to go and see it but in this case, you can make money for referring people and all the people they attract to their businesses as well. When you start building up your business, you also earn points for every single transaction from anyone in your network (referring or online shopping).
This is a great opportunity as an owner of a business or for someone in charge of the purchases for a company, this can be a great tool to save money, save costs of sale and increase profit. It could be created as a fundraising account for a school, a church or a specific organization. As a person, this can be a great tool to get some cash back and also to get some extra income for the family (Valid US SS# or EIN are required).
Some of the retailers you can find on your STE website are:
Office Depot, Office Max, Staples, Vista Print, PC Mall, Mac Mall, Apple, Comp USA, Tiger Direct, Skype, Lens Crafters, Drugstore.com, Restaurants.com, Expedia.com, Travelocity.com, Priceline.com, Hotels.com, Target, Wal Mart, Toys R Us, Macys, Babies R Us, Barnes and Noble, Discovery Store, Best Buy, Circuit City, GAP
And many, many, more.
We commonly buy things online from some of these retailers either for our offices, our school or our home, the difference is that we can generate cash back and points from this transactions. And points = money.
STE started its recruiting program in March 2008 in Florida and they are launching now a tour in many other states as part of their promotion becoming the most important movement on E-commerce in the world and right now there are only a few members. Since it started 7 months ago, there are only around 55,000 people, growing at a rate of 10% a week and making it very attractive as a business and as a tool to receive some extra income.
For more information about the program you are more than welcome to visit my webpage at http://www.shoptoearn.net/easily and if any doubts arisen, please do not hesitate to contact me, I will be more than happy to assist you. When you join Avon it is your business so you do what you choose to do with it as you please.
Personally for me it has been worth while. I am able to make $250 every 2 weeks in addition to my full time income.
Not sure if you are aware but now you can sign up to become a representative online plus it is only $10 to get started and you could sign up now online. Plus, with all the support that is available out there you should be able to make a great income.
If you do happen to be interested and are ready to get started just go to my website and click my name so that I could email you online application website information.
Hope that helped answer your question!

I have been a consultant with Mary Kay for 4 years. You’ll find after reviewing the profit levels that different home based businesses have, that Mary Kay has one of the highest – at 50% profit. I would be more than happy to send you some information on Mary Kay, so that you can compare notes with the information on other companies that you gather. My e-mail is: kymberleezimmer@marykay.com if you are interested.

Hi there!!
First off I have found that you can’t sell something you don’t believe in! For example I hate Mary Kay (sorry if that offends anyone) there for I could never sell it! First off I would try all the lines and see what one you like the best! It’s a whole lot easier to sell something you like and love! I love Arbonne so it’s easy for me to sell it! If you just sell at retail you can get 35% to 80% profit! Plus you make commission on your down line! That’s a start!!
Another good one would be candles! I just found these candles and they are awesome! They are called Scentsy!! Here the gal I have order from web site! http://www.scentsy.com/keri
There are so many choices! Just make sure you look and make sure its something you can live with and stick too!! Good luck!!

Arbonne is the best.
Great Products – Clients and Consultants will love them.
Great Training Plan – All Free and Tons of it!
Great Success Plan – See Success Plan online at http://www.arbonne.com
They have tons of information to look at online to review for yourself.
Simple Concept – No Parties unless that is what you like to do. Basically you shop each month for a few of your favorite products and teach others to do the same. Not spending any new money. Just redirecting the money you already spend to purchasing Arbonne Products. Bonus really nice products and Arbonne will pay you a referral check.
If you would like more information, please email me through my profile. I can answer your questions and give you any information you may need to make an informed decision.
Best wishes,
Karen

I have to agree with the other Arbonne consultants. I am an Arbonne consultant and I love the product. I love the fact that we get to give our clients the same discount as we get. The compensation plan is amazing and it is only $29 to start your own business. No minimum to buy, no minimum to sell. It’s your business to do what you want with it. Check out my website at http://www.successfulhealth.myarbonne.com to learn more about our compensation plan and the wonderful business of Arbonne. Let me know if I can help. I would happy to send you more information on the company. Good luck on your decision.
