Question by rmdandv: Where can I find legitimate Home Based Businesses that aren’t going to break me to start?
Quick background so you understand my question. I’m totally disabled – physically – though mentally I believe in my abilities enough to try and/or start a Home Based Business to help my wife who works two jobs (and I feel so bad about it) to keep us a float, so to speak, but I don’t want to simply sit around and do nothing! I want to help provide “some” financial assistance so the whole burden is not on my wife’s shoulders. If there are legitimate and reasonalble “Home Based Businesses” for someone in/with my situation and condition, please let me know where they are so I can do more than just sit at home. Thanks to all who respond, and God Bless your efforts.

I have been doing some research on this very subject, so I ran a search as “working from home” and I found an article at this link: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/TakeControlOfYourLife/Story?id=2621388&page=1
It has some great information which I personally plan to followup.
The rest of the search results were mostly useless, I have a feeling you know what I mean by this. If you follow any of these links they all want to charge a fee for the same information that is out there for free.
If you do find some sites or situations that you are interested in: use caution before committing to any “job” that is going to pay you as a contractor. This is particularly true if you recieve benefits under “Social Security” since they have limits on what you may earn.

hi,friend,
i live in singapore and am involved in a biz which would perfectly suit u as it is legitamate, global e-com biz.
i don’t know where u live but this biz is totally web based and u can refer any one from any part of the world to join in.
we have team leaders in almost all parts of the world so if u’re interested they can explain in detail to u.
from ur name i guess u are indian i am one too from bangalore, i’ve been in it for a year and the income is good (US $) just send me a note if interested and we will discuss further.
my leaders are in nigeria now to expand the market there.after which they move to nairobi,Kenya where a gala convention is being organised.
don’t worry once u join us the whole world will be in ur hands.

A website that might be able to help you would be for the Direct Sellers Association (www.dsa.org). (At the site, click on “member directory”, then on “direct selling member search.” You can then look up companies by name or by type of business.) They have links to lot of home-based businesses, and to be a member of the DSA, the companies have strict rules of ethics and procedures that they must abide by.
It’s a great place to research many types of home-based businesses. Hopefully you can find the right business that works for you there.
I wish you and your wife the best of luck!

Hi!
I bought a resume website from http://www.VentureOwl.com. Their prices seem to be pretty reasonable. The site starting making money in the first week and they even helped me market the site.
